On July 11, 2024, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, presided over the opening ceremony of the 30th Regional Thailand National Skills Competition, held at the Prem Tinsulanonda Music Hall, Thaksin University. The event kicked off simultaneously across all four regions of Thailand, with over 1,600 participants nationwide.
As part of its commitment to workforce development, Eminent Air was honored to serve as a main sponsor of the event—specifically supporting the Refrigeration Technology category, which directly aligns with the company’s expertise and training initiatives. The southern regional competition was hosted by the Songkhla Institute for Skill Development 12, representing provinces in the southern cluster.
The competition provides a vital platform for young talents to demonstrate their technical skills and potential in various trades, aiming to elevate the standards of Thai labor to meet international benchmarks. In the southern region alone, 17 categories were contested, with events taking place at Songkhla Rajabhat University (5 categories) and Songkhla Technical College (2 categories), attracting a total of 335 participants.
Winners of gold, silver, and bronze medals at the regional level will qualify for the national finals of the 30th Thailand National Skills Competition, scheduled for March 2025 in Bangkok and surrounding areas. Top-performing national winners will then undergo further training and selection processes to represent Thailand in international skill competitions.
This initiative is a significant step in advancing Thailand’s skilled workforce, aligning vocational training with the evolving demands of the job market. Eminent Air is proud to contribute to the development of Thai youth, empowering them to become a driving force in Thailand’s future economic growth.
