On July 10, 2024, Ms. Buppha Rueangsud, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development (DSD), presided over the grand opening of the “Eminent Training Center” at the Songkhla Institute for Skill Development 12. This landmark initiative marks a strategic collaboration between the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour, and Mr. Weerapol Sawanpitak, Chief Marketing Officer of Eminent Air (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The establishment of this center is a response to the growing demand for skilled air conditioning technicians in the southern region. The Eminent Training Center is designed to serve as a hub for professional training and knowledge transfer in Eminent Air’s advanced air conditioning technologies.
To date, over 1,176 technicians have already benefited from collaborative training programs conducted by both organizations. This new facility further strengthens the shared commitment to enhancing vocational skills and creating more career opportunities in the HVAC sector.
The training center is fully equipped with modern tools, industry-grade equipment, and hands-on facilities, aiming to empower aspiring technicians with practical skills aligned with real-world service demands.
This partnership underscores a long-term vision to build a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the evolving needs of consumers and supporting the sustainable growth of the air conditioning industry in Thailand.
