Eminent Air, Thailand’s leading air conditioner brand, reinforces its position as a leader in HVAC training and skills development by launching the Level 3 HVAC Technician Training Program – Batch 2 in collaboration with the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour.
With a commitment to advancing the skillsets of Thai HVAC technicians to professional standards, Eminent Air (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently launched the Level 3 Air Conditioning Technician Training Course for residential and small commercial air conditioning systems. This course combines both theoretical and practical learning using the latest technology in the HVAC field.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakan, Minister of Labour, who awarded certificates to successful trainees. Mr. Decha Phruekpathanarak, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Acting Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, presided over the closing ceremony and presented certificates to those who completed the training.
This Level 3 course was developed by Eminent Air to enhance the technical skills of workers, ensuring they meet industry standards and are prepared to meet the needs of businesses in the target industries. It is the first training program of its kind specifically for HVAC technicians.
Mr. Surachai Wongsawas, Technical Manager at Eminent Air (Thailand) and course instructor, explained that this training program covers both theory and practice using cutting-edge technologies. The Level 3 course focuses on advanced HVAC topics, including VRF system design, ductwork systems, and electrical control systems, aimed at equipping technicians with the expertise to install, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning systems with a cooling capacity of up to 70 kW (240,000 BTU/hr).
The training took place at the Skill Development Institute 12 Songkhla from November 8-11, 2024, totaling 30 hours, with only 20 participants per batch. The course has been highly popular among technicians eager to improve their skills.
